In honor of the 30th anniversary of the Broadway opening of Annie, Bishop Luers Drama Department, under the direction of Karlene Krouse, presents the musical you remember, in a production that you’ll never forget. The beloved book and scores, who won the Tony Award for Best Musical, will feature “Tomorrow” and “It’s the Hard-Knock Life” are the most popular musical numbers by Tony Award® winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin.
Rachel Stuczynski, a Bishop Luers senior, stars as the world’s favorite orphan. Join Annie on her spirited journey from a next-to-nothing start at an orphanage run by the wickedly funny Miss Hannigan (Kate Abbott, Bishop Luers senior) to finding her ideal family with big-hearted billionaire Daddy Warbucks (Duncan Justice, Bishop Luers junior).
The play will be held on Friday, November 30, Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2. Friday and Sunday at 7:30 P.M. and Saturday at 2:00 P.M. The cost for the play is $7 and tickets can be reserved by calling (260) 456-1261 x 3114 or (260)414-8026.
