HEATHER’S CLOSET
Wednesday, November 14 – 6pm – at Bishop Luers High School, Room 104, the inaugural Heather’s Closet event will take place.
Heather Ancelet Norris was a beautiful twenty-year-old who lost her life at the hands of an abusive boyfriend in 2007.
In her memory, and as a way to bring awareness to teen dating violence, we are proud to host a speaker from The Center of Non-Violence to discuss teen dating violence and along with the speaker, Joni Kuhn will share Heather’s story.
New and gently used dresses will be displayed and available for purchase.
With each gown, there will be provided information regarding safety tips, phone numbers and Heather’s story.
All gowns will be sold for $25.
Proceeds from the event will enable Heather’s Closet to host future guest speakers and purchase additional information about domestic violence.
