SONJA LEE KOCH, 73
SONJA LEE KOCH, 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Hospice Home. She was born June 20, 1938 in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Koch retired from Walgreens in 2002. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was involved in many breast cancer functions.
Surviving are her father Donald Cassaday, Sr. of Fort Wayne; sister, Helen (Mike) Poinsette of Roanoke; brothers, Pat (Jo) Cassaday, Floyd Cassaday, and Donald Cassaday, Jr., all of Fort Wayne; granddaughter, Amy (April Connelley) Cassaday of Fort Wayne; and two great grandchildren, Cassidy Connelley and Cole Connelley.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Raymond “Jack” Koch; mother, Wanita (Wraight) Cassaday; daughter, Deborah Cassaday; son, Robert Camos; grandson, Chad Cassaday; and aunt and best friend, Marji Carpenter.
Funeral service was on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation was also on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
