RUTH E. HARSCH, 94
RUTH E. HARSCH, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at St. Anne Home. She was born July 31, 1917 in Warren, Indiana to the late Charles and Clella Collins.
Mrs. Harsch worked at General Electric for 10 years, retired from Sears in 1982 after 27 years as a switchboard operator, worked at Redimed until she was 90, and also volunteered at Lutheran Hospital for 15 years.
Surviving are her son, Steven (Nancy) Harsch of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Ralph Harsch in 1968 and daughter Janis Johnson.
Funeral service was on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
Preferred memorials may be made to the SPCA.
