FLORA O. “LETHA” SNYDER
FLORA O. “LETHA” SNYDER was born March 2, 1924 in Fort Wayne to the late George and Sarah Wise. She died at her home on October 1, 2011 at 7:45 A.M.
She worked at General Electric and Capehart Farnsworth. She was also a former volunteer at Lutheran Hospital. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her home, collecting cookbooks and making chocolate chip cookies.
She is survived by her daughter Joyce Marx and her sister Hazel Sanders. There have been many caring neighbors and friends.
September 2, 1950, she married John M. Snyder who preceded her in death October 2000. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Sherman, Melvin, and Harold Pearl; and sisters, Edna Conn, Iva Neumann, and Jessie Pinkerton.
Funeral service was Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 1:30 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Visitation on Monday, October 3, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
