WILLIAM E. “BILL” DAVIS, 74
WILLIAM E. “BILL” DAVIS, 74, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2010. He was born on December 30, 1935 to the late William G. and Frances (Reames) Davis-Craft Davis in Greensburg, IN. He worked at Perfection Bakery before retiring from Midwest Supply in New Haven. Bill served in the U.S. Army. He was a member at the American Legion Post #330 and VFW Post # 10006. He enjoyed planting flowers, puzzles, and reading.
Surviving family include four sisters; Mary Biddle, Betty Wall both of Fort Wayne, Martha Stuhrenberg, Shirley Rigby both of Greeensburg, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eilene (Snead) Davis; brothers, John, Larry, and Harold Davis and sister Gwendolyn Bowen.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 12:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. To leave online condolences please visit www.elzey-patterson-rodakfuneralhome.com.
