BETTE SUE BERRY, 67

BETTE SUE BERRY, 67, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Lutheran Hospital. She was born January 18, 1943 to James B. and Okabelle (Snyder) Williams in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mrs. Berry retired from Lincoln Life in 2009 and was a member of the American Legion. She was a very positive, upbeat, and caring person who enjoyed growing flowers and watching movies, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Surviving are her children, Deann (Larry) Daugherty of Dade City, Florida; Tim (Brenda) Berry of Fort Wayne; Kevin Berry of Fort Wayne; mother, Okabelle Williams of Fort Wayne; brothers, Larry (Evelyn) Williams of Fort Wayne; Ted (Joanne) Williams of Metamora, Indiana; grandchildren, Lyndsie and Caity Daugherty, and Sydni, Cameron, and Brice Berry.

Along with her father, Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Ray Berry in 1974.

Funeral services were on Monday, September 27, 2010 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 2403 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, with one hour of calling prior to services. Calling was also on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial was at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
