MOTHER’S DAY MAKEOVER CONTEST

I would like to nominate my mother, Jeani Talley. I could nominate her for being a wonderful mother to my two sisters and I, but that is not what I want to share with you… It was about eight years ago when my step dad and mother took in a baby from his step granddaughter. He has lived with them ever since. It was never a conscience thing at first for this baby to stay with them. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and now eight years later this boy is like her own. This young man is no blood relation to my step dad or her, but you would never guess it. Even after my step dad passed away, she was committed to raising him… her love for him and wanting to make sure he is raised in a Christian home keeps her determined. She sacrifices continually so that he can have what he needs even if she has to do without. It is one thing to care for your children or grand children, but a child who is not of your blood takes someone special… The awesome thing about this is she has never complained about the expense of raising him or the sacrifices she has to make running him to school or to the doctors’, things she did not plan to do at this stage in her life. After the past rough two years my mother has had she deserves a day of papering to remind her that she is worth is. She truly is an example of what a wonderful mother is.
