LETTER FROM THE PUBLISHER
Hello Waynedale,
We have been extremely busy at our office lately with many great things I would like to share with you.
In the past, we had many requests to keep our website (www.waynedalenews.com) up to date. As always, we took those requests seriously and brainstormed on ways to make our site something a Waynedaler (waynedale resident) as well as someone new to the area could enjoy. We decided to create a website that is entirely interactive, searchable, easy to navigate through, and stock full of past and present information.
Waynedalenews.com can now be accessed and we will be progressively modifying the site to best suit your needs; so please write or call with your comments. We will also be continually be updating our online archives, which will be entirely free to browse until the end of the year. After the first of the year, you may purchase a subscription to access archived issues.
It is also time to renew or start your subscription for 2010! This year, the price for a subscription is $30. We also ask that even if you already receive the paper by carrier and enjoy reading it, that you please donate a nominal $30 for the year to go towards the enhancement of The Waynedale Community. The subscription and donation money goes towards Waynedale promotional events and other Waynedale initiatives that bring the community together. This will in turn, enhance and better Waynedale.
Your donation or subscription ensures you receive a printed newspaper whether by mail or carrier for the entire year of 2010, an exclusive look at an online pre-release of each issue before everyone else, all year access to our online archives, and an e-mail notification of each deadline and issue release date. If we receive your subscription check before November 20th, you will receive the 2 remaining December issues mailed to you free of charge.
If you are interested, please fill out the form on the left hand page or send us a check for $30 with your name, address, phone, email, and notification of whether you would like to receive the newspaper by mail or already receive it by carrier. Please make out checks to: The Waynedale News and mail to: 2700 Lower Huntington Road Fort Wayne, IN 46809. For questions or comments, please mail, e-mail to: news@waynedalenews.com or call us at (260) 747-4535. Lets work together to make Waynedale a better place to live, work and visit.
Best Reguards,
Alex Cornwell
