PUTT FOR MUTTS GOLF TOURNAMENT
As local dogs and cats continue to feel the pinch of a slow economy, two groups are joining forces to increase pet adoptions and ensure that homeless animals have access to basic medical care. H.O.P.E. for Animals in conjunction with Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control will hold the 2nd annual Putt for Mutts Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 8th at Chestnut Hills Golf Course in Fort Wayne and will feature a variety of celebrity golfers.
The event will include a 4-person scramble, longest drive, closest to the pin and longest putt contest, followed by a raffle. Light lunch provided. Register by calling 1-800-707-5884 or visit www.fwacc.org <www.fwacc.org/> for online registration information.
Animals neglect is an ongoing issue in our community as each year thousands of dogs and cats are given over to Animal Care & Control and rescue organizations like H.O.P.E. for Animals.
Putt for Mutts is an excellent opportunity for golfers to join in making a significant difference for local dogs and cats in need.
