PAUL STEIN JR., 81
PAUL STEIN JR., 81, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, January 16, 2009, at Lutheran Hospital. Born February 4, 1927, in Fort Wayne, he worked for States Engineering for 25 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the 82nd Airborne from 1945 to 1947 during World War II.
Paul was devoted to his family, liked woodworking and was a good, hard worker.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita W. (Williams) Stein of Fort Wayne; sons, Thomas E. Stein of St. Joe, Michigan, Paul C. Stein of Glasgow, Kentucky, Charles N. Stein and Loren D. Stein, both of Fort Wayne; daughters, Terry D. Bowers and Juanita Bucey, both of Fort Wayne; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donna E. Phillips of Anoka,
Minnesota and Sandra Johnson of Syracuse, Indiana; and brother, Robert C. Stein of Livermore, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul F. Stein Sr. and Ruth (Arp) Stein.
Memorial service was Tuesday, January 20 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Calling one hour prior to service. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
