CHARLES JUNIOR BOWSER, 87
CHARLES JUNIOR BOWSER, 87, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, February 2, 2009, at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born August 7, 1921, in Kosciusko County, he was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. He served in the Navy; was a tool and diemaker at CTS, Elkhart, was a member of the Toolmaker Union; and volunteered at the Community Harvest Food Bank for nine years.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Bowser of Fort Wayne; daughters, Bonnie J. (Dick) Elzey of Fort Wayne and Carol S. (Don) Liepold of Dayton, Ohio, brother, Jack D. (Lorene) Bowser of Elkhart; sister, Jeanette L. Vandyke of Napanee, Indiana, four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Lamar Bowser and sister, Joy L. Marek.
Funeral service was Friday, February 6 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
