PAUL H. REGELSPERGER, 69
PAUL H. REGELSPERGER, 69, of Markle, formerly of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, November 20, 2008, at Markle Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born January 30, 1939, in Perryville, Missouri, he was the son of the late Thomas and Elma Regelsperger. He worked as an aircraft mechanic, retiring in 2001. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church-Hessen Cassel, Lions Club-Waynedale, and Knights of Columbus; and was a Board member of Greater Fort Wayne Aviation Museum.
Surviving are his wife, Karen Regelsperger of Fort Wayne; sister, Rose (Jim) Sakakeeny of Hazelwood, Missouri and Margaret Lieble of Perryville, Missouri; brother, Jim (Joyce) Regelsperger of Perryville, Missouri; children, Dawn (Ed) Sowles of Auburn, Robin (Garrett) Lemek of Stafford Springs, Connecticut and Tom Regelsperger of Scotts Valley, California; stepchildren, Jennifer Guardiola of Fort Wayne, Julie (John) Hoopman of Mansfield, Texas, Kevin (Masako) Fawcett and Jon (Melanie) Fawcett, both of Fort Wayne; several nieces and nephews; and nine step-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Regelsperger.
Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, November 17, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church-Hessen Cassel. Visitation was from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, November 16, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
