MARY G. HARBER, 86
MARY G. HARBER, 86, of Yoder, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008, at her residence. Born March 9, 1922, in Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker, member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and Rosary Society, and involved in volunteer work.
“She waas the most wonderful mother in the world, who will be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched.”
She is survived by her daughters, Rosemary (Charles) Colderbank of Fort Wayne, Barbara (David) Marshall of Yoder, Jennie (Thomas) Van Gorder of Fort Wayne, Elizabeth (Jeff) Zartman of Yoder, Joan (Randy) Jacobs of Fort Wayne, Catherine (Dan) Leonard of Fort Wayne and Jeannine (Glenn E.) Moore of Leo; sons, Edward (Teresa) Harber of Fort Wayne and Bernard (Marsha) Harber of Ossian; sisters, Kathleen Talbott of New Haven and Patricia Kenney of Indianapolis; brother, Michael Roach of Fort Wayne; 30 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clement and Grace (Grimes) Roach; husband, Thomas G. Harber, in May of 2002; one great-grandson; nine brothers; and two sisters.
Prayer service was Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Service was Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder. Visitation was Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at the funeral home, with Rosary service at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Burial in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery.
