THAT’S THE WAY I SAW IT
MLB JUST LOVES ITS FANS
Major League Baseball just loves its fans. That is the impression you get from watching TV, reading newspapers, and watching interviews of baseball people. Their actions appear to be more like P.T. Barnum’s philosophy, “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
Even the players names and stats appear in the newspapers and on the internet.
MLB together with the players association sued fantasy baseball as they wanted money from them for using that information.
Courts have ruled in favor of fantasy baseball. Actually fantasy baseball creates more interest in baseball. It does not look like MLB always uses good judgment. However, good judgment can be lost when millions of dollars are their primary interest.
That’s the Way I Saw It.
