MILDRED I. GRAFT, 89
MILDRED I. GRAFT, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, June 13, 2008, at her residence. Born January 6, 1919, in Warren, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth A. and Carrie L. Hawkins. She was a bookkeeper for her husband at O.C. Graft & Sons. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. She was a woman with a heart of gold who unconditionally loved her family and friends and woman of strong faith who deeply loved her church family.
Surviving are her sons, John (Kristine) Graft of Garrett and William Graft of Fort Wayne; brother, Robert Hawkins of Florida; and two grandchildren, Andrea and Dylan Graft.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth O. Graft on August 16, 1997; son, Robert Graft; and sister, Marjorie Habig.
Funeral service was 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Drive, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling was from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Funeral Home, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
