MARY I. CRICKMORE, 85

MARY I. CRICKMORE, 85, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at her daughters residence in Fort Wayne. Born March 24, 1923, in Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of Receptive Homemakers Club, Tri Lakes Overlanders Camping Club and Antiques Club. She was a member of Elmhurst Church of the Nazarene. She loved knitting, crocheting and flowers.

Surviving are her daughter, Jane (Paul) Schlup of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Amy Oakley of Fort Wayne and Paula (Randy) Enyeart of Huntington; great-grandchildren, Isaiah P. Oakley and Hannah M. Oakley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Crickmore, in 1982; sister, Helen Marie Witte; and brothers, Darrell, Paul and Richard Witte.

Funeral service was Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling was from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
