BARBARA JEAN ALDRIDGE, 65
BARBARA JEAN ALDRIDGE, 65, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, May 30, 2008, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born on October 30, 1942, she worked at Kmart for 25 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of American Legion 241 Auxilary, and enjoyed playing Bingo and Poker.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (fiancé, Jeremy Drew) Aldridge of Fort Wayne; stepsons, Fallis (Mary Ann) Aldridge Jr., George L. (Brenda) Aldridge and James E. Aldridge, all of Fort Wayne; stepdaughter, Neva Jo Aldridge of Fort Wayne; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fallis Newton Aldridge Sr., in 1997.
Service was 7 p.m. Tuesday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Calling was from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday prior to service at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
