SMOKE ON THE WIND
Dear Friends of The Waynedale News and “Smoke on the Wind,”
This is a true story about my pal Rocky. We were buddies from the very first time that we met. In fact, I called Rocky my “Get-Go Buddy” since we were so very close from the get-go of our eleven year friendship.
Rocky used to run and loved to do somersaults and play. He would nudge me and I would look at him. He had the most beautiful eyes and loving expression on his face, and I knew that he was saying how much he loved me and how grateful he was for the time that we spent together.
Rock taught me a great deal about life, love, acceptance, balance and harmony. Rocky is in heaven now, doing somersaults and playing with the angels. Perhaps you had just such a friend.
In the quiet of your prayer time, you may not see him, but you will hear him purr when the angels and Rocky nudge you.
God bless you, Rocky, my Get-Go Buddy, and God bless us one and all.
