RONALD JANSON, 76
RONALD JANSON, 76, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at his residence. Born August 4, 1931, in Geneva, Ohio, he was an active member of Waynedale United Methodist Church. He served in the Army in Korea and was a member of American Legion 247. He retired from Georgia Pacific in 1996 and prior to that he worked for Labrato Brothers and Allen Homes. He was active in Elmhurst Little League for 40 years holding many offices and was also secretary of District 10 Little League.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn J. Janson of Fort Wayne; son, Randy (Rene) Janson of New Haven; daughter, Debbie (Harry) Bryant of Fort Wayne; brothers, Carl Janson of Houston, Texas, Richard Janson of Fort Wayne; and David Janson of Denver, Colorado; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Clayton Janson.
Funeral service was Saturday, August 19, 2007 at Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church St., Fort Wayne, with visitation that day also. Visitation also on Friday, August 17, 2007 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
