DELORES M. WOOD, 72

DELORES M. WOOD, 72, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, August 31, 2007, at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. Born on September 13, 1934, in Jamestown, Kentucky, she served in the Marine Corp., and was a member of American Legion #241. Formerly, she was a clinical social worker at the University of Maryland. She more recently was a member of Broadway Christian Church.

She is survived by daughters, Cynthia Heniser of Albion, Cheryl (Dan) Ulrich, and Lisa (Humberto) Urra, both of Fort Wayne; brothers, Donald Stearns of Fort Wayne, Paul Robert Stearns of Oregon, James Stearns of Fort Wayne, Herbert Stearns of South Bend, and Richard Stearns of California; sisters, Dorothy Sanders of Delaware, Doris Hewes of Fort Wayne, and Leila Evans of Florida; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial service was Friday, September 7, 2007 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.

Memorials to Riley Hospital for Children or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
