LOURELEI M. PRIOR, 88
LOURELEI M. PRIOR, 88, of Angola, formerly of Fort Wayne, went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 27, 2006. Born June 22, 1918, in Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker. She was a life member of D.A.V., Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 432, Eagles, 8 & 40, Shrine Widows Club, and AMVETS; life member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 296, where she served as the Auxiliary Chaplain for over 20 years; and volunteered for many hours at the V.A. Hospital. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Marsha (David) A. Fishbaugh of Mineral, Virginia and Cynthia (David) M. Morrow of Angola; four grandchildren, Tammie (Jamie) Baynes of Virginia, Michele (Ken) Stech and James David Morrow II, both of Indiana and Natalie (Todd) Barb of Virginia; seven great-grandchildren; and one nephew, Jack F. DePew of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert P. Prior on May 26, 1980; and brother, Jack DePew.
Funeral service was Thursday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2417 Getz Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation was from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
