KATHY L. EDMONDSON, 46

KATHY L. EDMONDSON, 46, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at Parkview Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker. She worked with special needs children through the Fort Wayne Community School System and also adults through the State Development Center.

Surviving are her husband, Gary; daughters, Christina (Jason) Rethlake and Andrea (Mel) Evans, both of Fort Wayne; mother, Arlene Burleson of Fort Wayne; sisters, Suzanne (Mike) Neuhaus of Fort Wayne and Tina (Chuck) Derickson of Monroeville; brother, John (Jill) Evans of Decatur; and grandson, Ethan Rethlake.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Evans, in 1985.

Funeral service was Saturday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.

Preferred memorials to Cancer Services of Allen County.
