RUSSELL L. AMADEN SR., 65

RUSSELL L. AMADEN SR., 65, of Yoder, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at his residence. Born January 25, 1941, in St. Joe, he served in the Navy and was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. He was a Principle Specification Compiler at International Truck & Engine, retiring in 1996.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth Amaden of Yoder; mother, Bernadine Amaden of Hicksville, Ohio; sons, Craig Amaden and Russell L. Amaden Jr. both of Angola, and Matthew Amaden of Fort Wayne; daughter, Melissa (Todd) Mercer of Edgerton, Ohio; stepdaughters, Diane Hines of Delphos, Ohio, Michelle (Jody) Kruckeberg of Grabill and Pamela Andorfer of Urbandale, Iowa; sisters, Judith Rapone of Leo-Cedarville, Suzanne (Arden) Shanks of Hicksville, Ohio and Lee Ann Sleesman of Charleston, S.C.; six grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, June 24, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder. Calling was at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Burial in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery.
