JUDY K. (SPRINGER) BLACK, 62
JUDY K. (SPRINGER) BLACK, 62, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at her residence. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a faithful servant of Christ and a loving and giving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid golfer and a volunteer with the Special People’s Bowling Tournament. She was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church and employed with Fort Wayne Community Schools for nine years.
She previously worked for International Harvester.
Survivors include her husband, David L. Black of Fort Wayne; sons, Robert D. Black and Bryan E. (Nicole) Black, both of Fort Wayne; grandsons, Matthew and Bryan Jr.; father, Homer Springer of Fort Wayne; and brother, Jerry (Carol) Springer of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ilo Springer.
Service was Saturday, July 1, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 6606 Maplecrest Road, with Pastor Richard Hartman officiating. Calling was also at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
