HENRIETTA GEYER, 83
HENRIETTA GEYER, 83, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, May 22, 2006, at Harborside Healthcare, New Haven. Born October 24, 1922, in London, Kentucky, she had worked at General Electric, Walgreen’s and K-Mart. She was a member of First Assembly Church of God, the Moose Lodge and American Legion Post 47.
Surviving are daughters, Brenda Payne and Judy (Jerry) Cunningham, both of Fort Wayne, and Sandra Tankersley of LaGrange; sisters, Margie Franklin and Verna Anderson, both of Fort Wayne, and Feryle Howie of North Carolina; 19 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester L. Geyer; sons, Norman Tankersley and Terry Tankersley; two brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral service was Thursday, May 25, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
