JOHN MICHAEL KEARNEY, 52

JOHN MICHAEL KEARNEY, 52, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at the University of Texas Hospital. Born March 1, 1954, in Fort Wayne, he was Controller at The Associates for 20 years.

Surviving are his mother, Joan C. (Konney) Kearney of Fort Wayne; four brothers, Stephen C. (Michele) Kearney and Dennis E. (Maureen) Kearney, both of Fort Wayne, Charles J. (Lisa) Kearney of Portland, Oregon and Michael P. (Alisa) Kearney of Rowlette, Texas; four nieces, Colleen (Joshua) Burin, Andrea Kearney, Lesley Kearney and Kyleigh Kearney; and four nephews, Nathan, Todd, Dylan and Forrest Kearney.

He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Kearney.

Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, April 8, at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Fr. Robert Schulte officiating. Visitation was Friday, April 7, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials to Matthew 25 or for Masses.
