MARC R. ROYER, 37
MARC R. ROYER, 37, of Auburn, died Saturday, February 4, 2006, in DeKalb County. Born November 15, 1968, in Fort Wayne, he was a Steamfitter at Local 166 working for Wagner-Meinert, Inc. He was a graduate of Elmhurst High School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ivy Tech, receiving an Associates degree in Applied Science in Building Trade Apprenticeship Plumber and Pipe Fitter. He was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
Surviving are his wife, DeAnna Royer of Auburn; mother and stepfather, Linda J. (Andrew) Sweet Blanzy of Avilla; father, Fred Royer of Decatur; three daughters, Amber Marie, Andrea Elise and Abigail Lynn; one brother, Gregg; three sisters, Jamie, Stephanie and Jenny; three stepsisters, Sue Koop, Jody and Diane; and one stepbrother, Derek.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene and Betty Royer, and Gordon and Dorothy Sweet; and brother, David Jon Royer.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Drive, Fort Wayne. Visitation is from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
