RUTH J. WALSH, 81
RUTH J. WALSH, 81, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Lima, Ohio on November 5, 1924. She was a supervisor with GTE Directories for 25 years and a member of Saint Therese Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bernard Walsh; son Bernie Walsh of Fort Wayne; daughters Pam McComas of Palm Bay, Florida and Sandy (Steve) Longenberger of Englewood, Florida; sisters Valera Savieo of Fort Wayne, Rita Murry of North Manchester and Helen Kammerer of Yuba City, California; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Ahlersmeyer.
Service was Monday, January 16, at Saint Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road. Visitation was Sunday, January 15, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Rosary service was held Sunday at the funeral home. Burial at Catholic Cemetery.
