ROBERT D. “BOB” TAYLOR, 83
ROBERT D. “BOB” TAYLOR, 83, died Sunday, November 6, 2005 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Bluffton, Indiana, he was a Supervisor with Magnavox Corporation for 43 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Magnavox 1/4 Century Club, K of C, VFW 3846-Churubusco, VFW 1421-Fort Wayne, American Legion 296, Fort Wayne Model A Club and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He also started the Magnavox Credit Union and was the first president and he was Number 1.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Margaret (Boxberger) Taylor of Fort Wayne; sons, Tim Taylor, Michael (Linda) Taylor and Dennis (GeWayne) Taylor all of Fort Wayne; daughter, Alice (Greg) Sanborn of Paoli, Pennsylvania; sister, Ruth Nohrwold of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, November, 10, at Saint Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road with calling one-half hour prior. Fr. Joseph Rulli officiating. Calling was also Wednesday, November 9, at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
