JAMES A. IMBODY, 71, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, August 11, 2005, at his residence. Born April 23, 1934, in Egge, Indiana, he was a painter at Parkview Hospital, retiring in 1996. He was a member of Roanoke American Legion, Marine Corp. League and a lifetime member of Fort Wayne Bowling Association. He was a Marine, serving during the Korean Conflict Era. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.
Survived by his wife, Regina “Jean” Imbody of Fort Wayne; son, Kevin J. Imbody of Valparaiso; daughters, Karen J. Thompson and Rebecca A. Snyder, both of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Megan M. Snyder, Lindsey Lowery, Gary Lowery and Tyler Thompson; four sisters, Kathryn Wolfe and Mary Ann Calhoun, both of Fort Wayne, Sylvia Mills of Huntington and Ida Mae Franklin of Fort Wayne; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service was Saturday, August 20, 2005 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road. Father Joe Rulli officiating.
