ARK ARRIVES IN WAYNEDALE
After much planning, an ark has been placed in the playground area at Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church Street in Waynedale. Becky Conelley, Associate Pastor at the church hopes the ark to be a fun learning tool for the flood of students expected this fall at the newly remodeled preschool.
The 8′ wide x 14′ long x 7’6″tall ark was purchased from D&L Woodworking out of Shipshewana, Indiana. The ark sits on the southwest corner of the church and all animals from the four corners of the earth are painted in mural fashion inside the preschool classroom, providing an exciting new environment for the kids coming this year to school at WUMC.
