EUGENE J. SMITH, 70, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born August 8, 1934, in Fort Wayne, he worked in maintenance for Allen County Library, Midwestern United Life Insurance and Stat Care.
Surviving are, his stepfather, Henry Dick Sutorius of Fort Wayne; and aunt, Jennie Lee Harp of Lumberton, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Smith.
Funeral service was Monday, June 27, 2005 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
