THOMAS C. SHANK, 81
THOMAS C. SHANK, 81, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, May 22, 2005, at his residence. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Howard B. and Julia (Clancy) Shank. He was the President of Shank Brothers Plumbing & Heating Company, retiring in 1988. He was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.
Survived by wife, Helen M.; sons, Thomas J. Shank and James C. Shank, John H. Shank and Michael J. Shank, all of Fort Wayne; daughters, Patricia L. Shank of Fort Wayne, Barbara E. Richards of Atlanta, Georgia, Laura Storie, Louise Ann Rowan and Katherine Eckrich, all of Fort Wayne; and 24 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brother, Howard T. Shank; sister, Margaret Rondot; and grandson, Michael Eckrich.
Rosary was Tuesday, May 24 and Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, May 25, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, with prayers at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial at Catholic Cemetery.
