GEORGE “RAY” SHEPHERD, 78
GEORGE “RAY” SHEPHERD, 78, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Fort Wayne. Born December 21, 1926, in Terre Haute, he was employed by Mister Coney, as a breakfast cook, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed woodworking.
Survived by his wife, Madonna L. (Rankin) Shepherd of Fort Wayne; daughters, Cheryl (Tim) Abernathy and Tracy (Doug) Miller, both of Terre Haute, Diane (Jim) Reynolds of Florida, Julie Toney of Terre Haute and Marsha (Jerry) Bryan of Fort Wayne; sons, Jack (Juanita) Plimpton of Garrett, Richard Bell (Vickie Graham) and Bruce Shepherd, both of Fort Wayne; and 28 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Lydia Anglemeyer.
Service was Saturday, June 11, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Burial at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
