TRAPS

The turtle came from the ponds to teach and tell man not to pollute our Earth Mother.‑ He said, “I have journeyed far”.‑ I have swum in the muck and mire, looking for the cool ponds of my ancestors.‑ I went to the high ground and saw the destruction of man.‑ Beer cans and litter all around.‑ I was caught in man’s trap.‑ I died without uttering a sound.

Now it is up to you to swim in the Earth’s muck and mire.‑ But if you have my spirit in you, we will sing a healing song, and perhaps, just perhaps, God will show us a clear cool, unpolluted pond.
