On behalf of David Parrish American Legion Post #296 I would like to give a “heartfelt” thank you to everyone who helped in anyway to protect the Post from the SECOND flood in less than two years. A lot of you were not members of the Post. Some were. All together the efforts were done with concern, love, and dedication to a Veterans place of gathering.
Local television coverage Wise 33 and 21Alive were very much appreciated for their concerns in letting the community know what was happening to Post 296. They told the story of the continued flood problems for everyone on the south side of Fort Wayne.
