ROBERT E. “BOB” ROEHM, 76, of Wolcottville and seasonally of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, January 20, 2005, at his residence, Winter Haven, Florida. Born May 1, 1928, in Fort Wayne, he was owner/operator of Roehm Marine in Fort Wayne for 35 years. He was a World War II Army veteran, board member of Fort Wayne International Aviation Museum, a member of Seaplane Pilots Association, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, EAA, Back Forty Flying Club, American Legion Post 82, and Young Eagles. He was also a member of Beymer United Methodist Church, Winter Haven, Florida, and an affiliated member of Trinity Church United Methodist, Kendallville.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn E. (Parkison) Roehm of Wolcottville and Winter Haven Florida; son, Robert “Rob” E. (Deb. Hullinger) Roehm II of Markle; daughters, Susan (David) Junk of Winter Haven, Florida, Nancy (John) Austin and Margaret “Peggy” Roehm, both of Fort Wayne and Elizabeth (James) Sanderson of Wawaka; sister J. Carole (Richard) Hill of Fort Wayne; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Opal (Favory) Roehm.
Service was Tuesday, January 25, at Trinity Church United Methodist, 229 S. State St., Kendallville, with The Rev. Dr. David Hogsett officiating.
Visitation was also Monday, January 24 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road.
