JEANETTE HELEN PITZER, 72, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at Ossian Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born February 27, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a teacher’s aide in the Fort Wayne Community School System, working with special education students. She was a member of Avalon Missionary Church.
“She was a loving, devoted and entirely Christian wife, mother and grandmother. We loved her and she loved us.”
Surviving are husband, Joseph H. Pitzer Jr. of Fort Wayne; son, James H. (Joyce) Pitzer of Fort Wayne; daughter, Jennifer (Larry) Johnson of Fort Wayne; sisters, Alice Meyers of Meridian, Idaho and Ethel Kovach of Sagamore Hills, Ohio; grandchildren, Joseph Pitzer, Jill (Uriah) Wolfe, Jackie Pitzer; Lindsey (Shawn) Baker and Amy Johnson.
Service was Saturday, January 28, 2005, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
Burial at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
