CHARLES E. STRONG, 77
CHARLES E. STRONG, 77, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, February 8, 2005, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born November 26, 1927, in Maplewood, Ohio, he retired from General Electric Co., in 1988. He was a member of F.O.E. and served in the Army.
Surviving are sons, William Lee Strong of San Francisco, California and Charles Edward Strong of Fort Wayne; sisters, Betty Lou Wallace of Huntsville, Ohio and Doris Bricker of Rosewood, Ohio; caregiver, Mary Shepard of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Stewart A. Arnold of Fort Wayne, Ronald Eugene Strong Jr. of Denver, Colorado, Michelle Lee Strong of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Rebecca Sue Arnold, and Sherry Marie Arnold and Wesley Allen Arnold, all of San Francisco, California; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Dreuzella E. Strong; son, Ronald Eugene Strong; daughter, Lola Lynn Arnold; and sister, Delores Williamson.
Funeral service was Saturday, February 12, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
