RUTH D. GERARDOT, 53

RUTH D. GERARDOT, 53, died Monday, December 6, 2004, at her Fort Wayne residence. Born October 12, 1951, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Bernard A. and Janet M. (Fisher) Kampschmidt. She was the Athletic Department Secretary at Bishop Luers for seven years.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Gerardot of Fort Wayne; sons, Michael and Matthew Gerardot, both of Fort Wayne; daughters, Katie and Michelle Gerardot, both of Fort Wayne; her mother, Janet Kampschmidt of Fort Wayne; sisters, Mary Anne Monroe of Cincinnati, Ohio, Barb Kampschmidt of Ossian; and brothers, Chuck Kampschmidt of Fort Wayne and Bernie Kampschmidt of San Antonio, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard A. Kampschmidt.

Service was Friday, December 10, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with Chaplain Dick Niles officiating.

Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.

Preferred memorials to Bishop Luers Athletic Dept. or I.U. Cancer Center for Breast Cancer Research.
