The weather in Florida has caused several collection centers to close just as more donations are needed. Waynedale residents are asked to support this blood drive, particularly first time donors, to help reduce the shortage in Florida, as well as, Allen County. The shortage is so critical that donations will be processed and then used within approximately 48 hours.

WEDDING DISPLAYS

What: Showcase of over sixty wedding displays

Over sixty displays featuring vintage and contemporary wedding dresses as well as memorabilia, period music, photos, video, traditions and much more will be on view at the History Center.

WINE TASTING
Who: Cystic Fibrosis & Psychology Club at IPFW
What: Wine tasting of over 70 wines, food from local restaurants and alternative drink stations that include import beer and martinis
When: Friday, November 19, from 6:30-10pm
Where: Historical Tower Bank Building in downtown Fort Wayne
Cost: The entrance fee in advance is $40, which includes a free wine tasting glass, or $45 at the door. There will be live music as well as a silent auction. Proceeds go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the event will be sponsored by TransWorks. 90- cents of every dollar will go to the foundation.
