ANN “RITA” KAPP, 86

ANN “RITA” KAPP, 86, died Saturday, August 14, 2004, at Parkview Hospital. Born October 26, 1917, in Youngstown, Ohio, she was a homemaker, member of St. Therese Catholic Church and volunteer at St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen, Turnstone Center, Lutheran Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bernard L. Kapp; sons, Bernard L. (Annette) Kapp Jr. of Fort Wayne and Jeffrey L. (Cyndi) Kapp of Albion; daughter, Kathy (Michael) O’Neil of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Laura (Todd) Miller, Michele (Jim) Barnum, Sara (P.J.) Holser, Tony (Kelly) O’Neil, Heather O’Neil, J.B. Kapp, and Bryan Kapp; and eight great-grandchildren.

Calling was Monday, August 16, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, August 17, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery.

Preferred memorials to St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen or Masses.
