DONALD W. McFARLAND, 80
DONALD W. McFARLAND, 80, of Leo, died Saturday, August 21, 2004, at Golden Years Homestead. Born November 22, 1923, in Ashland, Kentucky, he was the son of Miles McFarlin and Rosie Bell. He was a Welder for International Harvester and served in the Navy. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 170, Shriners and American Legion Lincoln Post 82.
Surviving are his wife, Fay Margret Marie (Mills) McFarland of Fort Wayne; sister, Margaret Eloise Baldwin of Sturgis, Michigan; two nephews; and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Clara Imogene Landua; and brother, John C. McFarland.
Funeral service was Tuesday, August 24, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Chaplain Doug Holley officiating. Burial was at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, with Military graveside service.
Preferred memorials to The Shriners Children’s Hospital.
