VELMA B. CROWELL, 95

VELMA B. CROWELL, 95, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, July 2, 2004, at Lutheran Home. Born April 6, 1909, in Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker and Past President of Allen County Homemakers Extension, 50-year member of Allen-Wayne Homemakers Club, RSVP Volunteer and Past President of Emmaus Lutheran Church’s Ladies Aid.

Surviving are her brother, Melvin A. Schott of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Kent Crowell of Fort Wayne, Daniel Crowell of Whitley County, David Crowell of Fort Wayne, Brenda Crowell of Yoder and Belinda Crowell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee D. Crowell, January 1977; and sons, Donald L. Crowell, in 2004 and David Allen Crowell, in 1988. Service was Wednesday, July 6, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.

Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Emmaus Lutheran Church or donor’s choice.
