WAYNEDALE NATIVE STARTS OWN CHIROPRACTIC BUSINESS
James Patrick Nill (Jayme) was born on March 17th, 1977 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Fort Wayne. His parents, Jim and June Nill took him home to his then residence of 1927 Maplewood Avenue in the Avalon Neighborhood of Waynedale. Growing up in such a close community, Jayme was able to play with the other neighborhood kids and swim at the Avalon pool. He frequently visited his amazing great grandmother Princess Delight Poorman and his grandparents Earl and Beverly Fleck, who are the parents of his mother June Nill (Fleck) all of whom are long standing Waynedale residents. Princess Delight was born in Waynedale in November of 1910 and has remained in Waynedale ever since. At the age of twelve, Jayme and his family moved to their current residence on Winchester Road. After attending both Weisser Park and St. Johns Fort Wayne he attended Bishop Luers High School where he graduated with the Class of 1996. Not only was he on the Honor Roll all four years, he was also part of the National Honors Society and participated in numerous curricular activities. Jayme then went on to college and attended Ball State University where he majored in biology and minored in business. He graduated from Ball State in the spring of 2000, and continued his education in the fall of 2000 in Lombard, Illinois at the National University of Health Sciences for Chiropractic school. He studied general anatomy, neuro-anatomy, physiology, pathology, biochemistry, nutrition, microbiology, CPR, clinical studies, diagnosis, and chiropractic technique for 3 years and four months, until he graduated in December of 2003. Upon graduation, Jayme was awarded a degree as a doctor of chiropractic medicine (DC) and became Dr. James P. Nill, D.C.
After graduation, Dr. James P. Nill moved back to Fort Wayne in order to start his practice. On March 15, 2004, Dr. Nill opened his practice, Nill Family Chiropractic & Wellness Center, which is located at 4656 W. Jefferson Blvd., Suite 240 in the Professional Park West office plaza just behind Best Buy of Apple Glen/Jefferson Pointe.
Dr. Nill uses a wide variety of techniques in order to treat conditions that include; diabetic neuropathy, muscle and joint pain, back and neck pain, pain/numbness in the legs and arms, disc problems, headaches, food allergies, tension/stress/fatigue, whiplash/auto accidents, sports and work related injuries, sinus problems (viral), carpel tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia, and many more. His office hours are: M-Th 8am-1pm & 3pm-6pm and Fri from 8am-2pm.
