WAYNEDALE DOG IS ON THE MENU AT THE STAND

Summer is just around the corner and that can only mean one thing: baseball, hotdogs and ice cream, well maybe three. Located near Bobick’s Golf Headquarters on Bluffton Road you may have noticed a small green round building and wondered what it is. Well, it is summer! What better time to play baseball and then visit the newest hot spot in Waynedale. The Stand.

The Stand offers hotdogs of all kinds. There is the traditional Hotdog, Coney Dog (said to be the best in Waynedale and possibly Fort Wayne), Jalapeno Dog, Cheese Dog, and the first to list on their menu THE WAYNEDALE DOG! If you have never heard of The Waynedale Dog you just got to try it-you won’t believe it. It is an original Coney dog topped with the secret sauce of coleslaw. And it is the best! At only $1.40, the Waynedale Dog, is the best there is. They also serve ice cream and yogurt. Ice cream as a cone, sundaes, shakes, smoothies, and floats. Co-managers, Ryan Palmer and Sergio Trevino said, “We have flavors of just about any kind with a “twist”. That twist is called a Flavor Burst. The flavors include Raspberry, Butter Pecan, Blue Goo, Black Cherry, Strawberry, Bubblegum, Cheesecake, and Peach Twist.”

The Stand is the perfect place to bring the whole team after a baseball or soccer game, or just to sit, relax and enjoy an ice cream cone. The Stand is open 7 days a week-Monday through Sunday. On Fridays and Saturdays they are open from 11am-11pm and on Sundays 11am-10pm.
