MARIAN E. CELAREK, 83
MARIAN E. CELAREK, 83, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at home. Born in Indianapolis, May 16, 1920, she was a graduate of Butler University and a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. The Fort Wayne resident was a homemaker and member of St. Therese Catholic Church, the Fort Wayne Garden Club and a devoted volunteer for St. Therese School, the Fort Wayne Historical Society and Delta Gamma Sorority.
Her husband, Judge Frank J. Celarek, preceded her in death in 1990.
Survivors include her sons, Frank J. (Laura) Celarek Jr. of Elgin, IL, Kevin T. (Shannon) Celarek of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter, Patricia A. (Thomas) Hammond of Fort Wayne; son, James (Ellen) Celarek of Schaumburg, IL; sister, Virginia Berry of Oceanside, California; sisters-in-law, Helen Celarek and Mary Woznik, both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Kirsten Pemberton, Emily Celarek, Ellie Celarek, Abbey Celarek, Sam Celarek, Leah Celarek, Katie Celarek and Madeline Celarek.
Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, April 12th at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
The preferred memorials are Bishop Luers High School Judge Frank and Marian Celarek Memorial Scholarship Fund or St. Therese Catholic Church.
