JOSEPH W. FORD, 77
JOSEPH W. FORD, 77, died Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was employed in sales with Umbers Ace Hardware and Wayne Pipe & Supply, retiring in 1988. He was with the Northside High School class of 1944 and was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church. “If I’m not here, I’ll be gone.”
Survivors include son, Robert W. Ford of Fort Wayne; daughter, Janet J. Mata of Fort Wayne; brother, Kenneth E. Ford of Fort Wayne; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris J. Ford, in 2002.
Service was Thursday, March 25th at D. O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Burial was in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
