ROBERT W. SIPE, 77

ROBERT W. SIPE, 77, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, February 7, 2004, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born August 31, 1926, in Fort Wayne, he was office manager at Brudi Stone & Gravel for 33 years and retired from Fox Contractors as controller. He was active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He was a member of Nine Mile United Methodist Church, Lions Club, Waynedale Masonic Lodge 739 and Scottish Rite. He enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, traveling, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife Esther Sipe of Fort Wayne; sons Raymond A. (Sharon) Sipe of Fort Wayne, Roger W. (Gwen) Sipe of Roanoke and Mark D. Sipe of Knoxville, Tenn.; daughter Marcia D. (Larry) Owen of Fort Wayne; sisters Carolyn (Howard) Miller of Mooresville and Betty (Donald) Miller of St. Joe; brothers James (Claudine) Sipe of Atlanta, Mich. and William (Ruth) Sipe of Butler; seven grandchildren; and four great-grand-children.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl R. and Cynthia M. (Garringer) Sipe.

Services were Wednesday, February 11th at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Waynedale Masonic Lodge service was at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 10th. Burial at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
